About
Forty years at the seam — on the operator's side of it.
Pegasus Source is the work of Reggie Britt. The thesis behind it isn't research. It's what four decades of running mission-critical systems, founding software companies, and leading technology organizations through change actually taught — and the reason this practice can see a whole system where others see handoffs.
The record
Not studying these systems. Running them.
A three-time software founder and, for a decade, the Chief Technology Officer of a billion-dollar consumer-finance enterprise — running the regulated, high-volume core through hyper-growth, scaling the technology organization from three people to more than a hundred and fifty.
Forty years on the IBM platform, System/36 through IBM i: the systems that hold the encoded judgment of the businesses that run on them. The place where the gap between an experiment and a production system is measured in real consequence — regulatory, financial, and operational.
Most people who work at this seam have carried one face of it.
That's the whole point. The rare thing isn't any single strength — it's holding all four in one head, because the seam between an organization and its intelligence doesn't respect the boundaries between disciplines.
The span
Four faces of one problem.
The span · 01
Strategy
Reading where the technology, the organization, and the economy are actually going — and turning it into a thesis you can act on. A published body of frameworks and a standing intelligence practice, not slideware.
The span · 02
Architecture
Designing the systems that make the thesis real — including the agent-to-core integration that lets modern intelligence act safely on a regulated legacy of record. The technical surface others avoid.
The span · 03
Execution
Building and shipping it where it has to hold — in production, at scale, under real load. Offshore delivery built and run, CI/CD live, mission-critical operations that can't go dark.

Leadership
Leading people and organizations through change that's never clean, at the C-suite. The human and organizational work that decides whether any of it actually holds.
Strategy that can architect. Architecture that ships. Execution led from the C-suite.

The practices are where it's applied — the ventures this thesis produces, each meeting the same problem on a different surface. They arrive shortly.
